EL COLECTIVO- THE FILMMAKERS
Paula Rodríguez Sickert, Director, is a filmmaker and producer based in Berlin. Her documentary work is characterized by the particularly personal use of imagery. Her documentary film "Volver a vernos“ (Pinochet’s Children) received multiple international awards.
Clara López Rubio, Co-Director, is film historian and film director. Several research and publications, such as the book, Flying Dreams and Spanish Earth about the Spanish Civil War in the cinema, appeared in Schüren Verlag 2010. She is the curator and organizer of various series of cinema events in Madrid and Berlin.
Juan Pancorbo, Co-Director, studied journalism and audiovisual communication in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and graduated at the German Academy of Film and Television, (dffb) in Berlin, where he lives. He is a translator and screenwriter and currently works for the German international broadcaster DW.
THE PRODUCER
Gregor Streiber, Producer, studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin and founded inselfilm produktion in 2001 after having worked for 10 years as an in-house producer for a Berlin based independent production company. With inselfilm he is producing feature films and documentaries for TV. Recent productions include „My Atomic Aunt“ (aka Beyond The Wave by Kyoko Miyake, 52/77 min. with WDR/BBC/NHK/IKON/SVT 2013), „How to calculate a catastrophe?“, „The discovery of reality – Simulated worlds and Logistics of the Masses – Shinjuku Station“ (each 30 min. documentary as part of the “hitec” series for ZDF/3sat 2007/2008), „Juan y Medio“ (feature length documentary, 2008), „The Green Obsession“ and „Plastica di Mare“ (both documentary arte/ZDF).
